At MMI, we have evaluated well over 100 unique treatments for musculoskeletal disorders of the hip, knee, ankle, wrist, shoulder, elbow, peripheral joints, and long bones involving osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, trauma, and sports medicine. Broadly, our musculoskeletal treatment experience includes but is not limited to drugs, stem cells, biologics, viscosupplements, marrow stimulation, tissue grafting, ablation, bone fillers, fixation devices, bioresorbable scaffolds, biphasic implants, biomimetic devices, resurfacing, and partial and total arthroplasty.

We are experienced in virtually all major quantitative and semi-quantitative scoring systems to assess disease severity and response to therapy from medical imaging. When appropriate, we apply validated, computer-assisted methods to objectively document the effect of new treatments. We offer a variety of validated tools and techniques to facilitate these evaluations. Our proprietary and patented technology, QMA®, offers unique quantitation and visualization capabilities that improve the reliability of common assessments, including change in joint space width and alignment; implant migration, subsidence, and rotation; progressive bone/implant interface remodeling; and fracture reduction, stabilization, and healing.
