Why MMI & Micron?

MMI and Micron have teamed up to create a unique, global imaging core lab offering for clinical trials across multiple areas, including oncology, musculoskeletal disorders, neurology, cardiovascular disease, rhinology, and other niche therapeutic areas! Benefits to trial sponsors include:

1. Expanded scientific expertise

With MMI and Micron’s joint forces, we have significantly expanded our network of global key clinical thought leaders, imaging experts, and clinician reviewers that are available to support sponsors in the design and execution of their trials. In addition to the scientific experts, we have also expanded our repertoire of image analysis techniques and methodologies, including proprietary ones, to support a wide range of imaging endpoints.

2. Global site support

MMI, based in Houston, TX, USA, and Micron, based in Tokyo, Japan, have successfully trained and supported more than 10,000 sites globally to collect high-quality imaging for clinical trials. With staff in the eastern and western hemispheres, we are able to communicate with sponsors and sites quickly and efficiently, in their local time zones, to enable faster study start-up and efficient execution.

3. Personalized attention, customer focused

Our company cultures are aligned to prioritize customer satisfaction, flexibility, and high-quality science. As two nimble, lean organizations, we value efficiency and consistent service delivery.

4. Support for all major imaging modalities

We have the clinical and scientific expertise to support all major imaging modalities in clinical trials across a wide range of therapeutic areas. From advanced quantitative analysis techniques for X-ray, MR, and CT to functional imaging in PET/SPECT, our experts will guide your sites on image acquisition and recommend the most efficient, validated, state-of-the-art imaging endpoints for your studies.
